Chambers School

the first

The Old Farley School was located on Rt 19,  3 miles south of Washington. In 1893, I was moved up the hill to the Hazlett Farm about 1/2 east of the W&W Trussell across S Main St Ext. The name was changed to the Chambers School in honor of Judge J.C. Chambers who on July 20, 1893, donated the land that was used for the building.

The original building was used until 1914 when it was moved down the hill and used as a residence by Lyndon Roach. Children moved to the New Chambers School
