Amity Elementary School

The new Amity Elementary School opened to students in January 1952.  When it opened, grades 1 through 8 were taught here and then children went to Trinity High School in town.  In 1972, the 6th, 7th and 8th graders moved to the new Trinity Middle School in Washington. Sometime between 1958 and 1967 a prefab building was added on the south side of the building for kindergarten.

In 1995, students were moved to the new Trinity South Elementary School which combined students from Amity, Lone Pine & Laboratory.
